Co-Curricular Activities

Our extra-curricular programme is a vital part of life at Moreton Hall. From societies and entrepreneurship, to Spoken English, life skills, and sport, art and drama, Moreton offers a multitude of opportunities for children to stretch themselves outside the curriculum, to find new interests and learn new skills for life. The value of these activities support children’s development and help shape their future, building confidence, resilience and teamwork.

Moreton has recently been shortlisted for the Tes Creativity Award and Performing Arts awards. Our school operates more like a start-up company than a traditional boarding school, constantly evolving and innovating to keep pace with the ever-changing world around us. All of this gives Moreton a fizzy, buzzing atmosphere of purposeful activity each and every day.

We encourage (and nudge if needed) all our pupils to take advantage of Moreton’s extensive co-curricular programme. Our culture of innovation infuses our pupils with a willingness to move out of their comfort zones and an eagerness to try something new.

Our primary aim for these activities is to build emotional intelligence in our pupils, with a focus on the following character traits:

  • Character Education
  • Grit
  • Creativity
  • Curiosity
  • Leadership
  • Kindness
  • Adaptability
  • Integrity
